Define "work." In the traditional sense where software performs its advertised function? That's a very narrow way to look at things. We prefer to say Aether Revert "operates in a paradigm-adjacent solution space."
The second law of thermodynamics is more of a suggestion, really. Our legal team has filed a formal objection with the universe and we're awaiting a response. In the meantime, entropy is paused in our jurisdiction (Delaware).
Our Adhesion Reversal Protocol™ (ARP) handles this automatically. If the print is stuck with glue stick, hairspray, or the tears of someone who's been leveling their bed for three hours, ARP will negotiate its release. Success rate: "Usually."
Technically yes, but our Terms of Service require written consent, a notarized affidavit, and at minimum a 5-day cooling-off period. Unauthorized reverting of another person's 3D prints is a Class 4 Maker Space Felony in most states.
Supports are reverted first, since they were printed as part of the original job. However, any supports you already snapped off and lost behind your desk will need to be manually retrieved. We recommend checking under the couch cushions as well. Aether Revert is powerful, but it can't find things you've lost. That's our upcoming product, Aether Locate (Q4 2027).
Yes! Our free trial lets you revert up to 0.5g of filament. That's roughly one-eighth of a Benchy's smokestack. After that, you'll need to upgrade to one of our premium plans or barter something of equivalent cosmic value.
